Hello!
My name is Vickie Dulko and I am the President of the Baltimore Blast Fan Club.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our club. The Fan Club’s mission is to support the Blast and the sport of soccer in the Baltimore area. As a part of that mission, the Fan Club supports the team, both on and off the field.
Some of our activities include:
Bus trips -
This past season we traveled by bus to Philadelphia and Milwaukee to rally behind the Blast. We also sponsored bus trips to the playoffs in Philadelphia.
Trips are open to everyone.
Holiday Party
– We hold our holiday party in early December. Lite fare is served. This event is for FAN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.
The players and their families attend to help us celebrate.
Santa brings a small gift for each child and player on behalf of the Fan Club!
Pictures with Santa are also taken.
This event is open to all Blast fans.
Awards Banquet
–The one everyone looks forward to is the Annual Awards Banquet.
Fan Club members only select the recipients of the awards. The banquet is open to all Blast fans.
Wounded Solider Night
- Last year the fan club tried something new we invited the wounded soldiers from Walter Reed Hospital to come to a game. The tickets were donated by the members who had tickets that they did not use. Squire’s had sandwiches, chips, salad, cookies and drinks for the soldiers and their families. Each soldier went home with a goodie bag from the Fan Club and the front office. We will be doing this event again this year we would like to ask if you have tickets you do not plan on using please donate them to the Fan Club.
Medieval Times- We
are looking to do a night at Medieval Times.
It will be on a Wednesday or Thursday
night sometime in the later part of January.
If you are interested in going please let one of the board members, people at the tables or myself.
To help raise funds to support our causes we have raffles and operate two tables, one on each side, on the concourse at the 1st Mariner Arena.
We sell player buttons, balls, lollipops and other items of interest to fans.
Our membership and trip tables are located on the even side of the arena.
Fan Club Advantages
- Each Fan Club member receives a membership card, one ticket to a game and another small token.
In the past members have received: a fanny pack, rally towel, and an autograph book.
Members also receive discounts to all Fan Club events and trips.
