About Us

Hello!

My name is Vickie Dulko and I am the President of the Baltimore Blast Fan Club, also known as the Detonators. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our club.

The Fan Club supports the team, both on and off the field. We also have a charity that we support.

Hope Lodge- We sponsor a season long food drive to benefit Hope Lodge, a residence for cancer treatment patients and their families in Baltimore. Once or twice a year, members of the Fan Club go to Hope Lodge and cook brunch for the residents.

Bus trips -In past seasons we traveled by bus to Milwalkee, Philadelphia and Cleveland to rally behind the Blast. We also sponsored bus trips to the playoffs. This year we hope to add Chicago to our tour. Trips are open to everyone, but Fan Club members get a reduced price.

Hat Trick Award - Every Blast player who scores a hat trick receives a phone card and certificate.

Picnic - The club sponsors a family picnic for Fan Club members and the Blast and their families. This is usually held prior to the start of the season. This event is for Fan Club members only. If you are not a member of the club you are welcome to join the day of the picnic. More information about the picnic will be sent out at a later date.

Holiday Party - We hold our holiday party in early December. Lite fare is served. The players and their families attend to help us celebrate. Santa brings a small gift for each child and player on behalf of the Fan Club! Pictures with Santa are also taken. This event is open to Fan Club members Only.

Awards Banquet - Our third event, and the one everyone looks forward to, is the Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet is open to all Blast fans, but again, Fan Club members receive a reduced price on their tickets.

To help raise funds to support our causes we have raffles and operate two tables, one on each side, on the concourse at the 1st Mariner Arena. We sell player buttons, white rally towels that you see being waved around the arena when the Blast score, and other items of interest to fans. Our membership and trip tables are located on the even side of the arena.
