The Baltimore Blast Fan Club
ABOUT THE CLUB
The Baltimore Blast Fan Club, also occasionally referred to as “The Detonators”, was formed to support and promote the sport of professional soccer in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. Our primary focus is promoting activities that will foster support to the Baltimore Blast soccer team.
The Baltimore Blast Fan Club is incorporated and the business of the corporation is managed by the Board of Directors. We have a set of by-laws that are followed and changes can be made to them only by majority member vote at our yearly election.
Letter From The President:
The Baltimore Blast Fan Club existed for years before I became involved and has had several previous presidents. When I first became associated with the Fan Club it was a good club and I was anxious to join it as a fan. Before long I decided I wanted to help out and get more involved and volunteer for some things. Then I decided it would be nice to get to be in on the planning and decision making as well so I ran for a director position.
After serving for a few years as a director I ran for president and have been president for over 2 years now. The club has been through some changes and most of them for the better I believe. It’s been fun to get to know the Blast front office staff and work with them doing different things. And, as always, it’s so wonderful to attend different functions like the Holiday Party and Banquet and get to know the players and their families on a personal level. I’ve been able to watch their babies attend their first game, go through the toddler stage and start school.
I've made lots of friends since becoming involved with the fan club and look forward to making even more. Although I am not a typical sports fan and don't follow football or baseball, etc, when I step into 1st Mariner Arena and see the Blast take the field I become I look forward to serving another term as President and seeing the fan club grow and become more involved and I hope you will join me for this journey.

Meeting Times
Meetings are usually held the fourth Wednesday of each month. They begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held at DuBurns Arena (1301 South Ellwood Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224). These meetings are open to anyone and opinions and discussions are welcome, however, only directors can make motions and vote on issues at hand.
